Kubuś Theatre in Kielce

Buildings of a historical nature in combination with contemporary architecture are very often the ideal background for all activities related to art. The location of the Puppet and Actor Theater “Kubuś” in a historic complex of buildings on the castle hill, near other institutions related to artistic activity, provides an opportunity to create an inspiring cultural space, providing an attractive place for cooperation and creative activity for its users. The concept assumes the extraction of the values of the combination of historical and contemporary architecture while preserving the essential elements of the composition of the objects of the manor and the forge. The use of appropriate solutions in terms of the functional layout and character of the building allows to create a modern space that respectfully refers to the existing historical fabric of the castle complex.
