Arsenal Gallery in Bialystok

The aim of the project is to provide the residents of Białystok with the historic building of the Old Power Plant adapted for the needs of the gallery and to create an attractive riverside boulevard.

This valuable object, which houses a modern gallery, is intended to constitute an attractive cultural, recreational and educational offer, extended by an external program of exhibitions and outdoor events in the park space. Proper connection of the building with the surroundings will serve to revive this now degraded part of the city and co-create a park-like foundation of a boulevard on the Biała River, running along its entire length within the city limits. The building of the Old Power Plant should be rebuilt in such a way as to adapt it to the needs of a modern art gallery while retaining its industrial character and extracting its original architectural qualities.
