Boutique Apartments Complex

In Szczyrk, due to the local spatial development plan which limits the height and size of the buildings, mainly intimate buildings may be constructed. It is for that reason that the designers envisaged the plot situated at the main street and in the direct vicinity of the bottom station of cable car to Hala Skrzyczeńska to home a complex consisting of 3 separate apartment facilities.

Located in the Silesian Beskids Landscape Park, in the close proximity of ski trails and gondola lift, the plot is exceptionally beautiful and as such inspired to strive for the best form of the XYZ Apartments.

The concept design was to preserve and expose the natural mountain landscape. This is how the idea for a boutique complex of 3 buildings was born, in which there are 30 apartments of the size of about 31-32 m2. The friendly scale of the buildings fits perfectly into the picturesque surroundings.

The division into 3 objects allows to create an intimate atmosphere of chalets and view openings over the mountains. All three buildings will be connected with structural glass linkways, the roofs of which will be covered with herbs or other fragrant plants. Thanks to the characteristic curvature of the roof and modern outlines, the objects will bear resemblance to the surrounding mountain slopes.

The project is a modern interpretation of a traditional architecture of Beskidy Region. And so the sloping roofs and timber elements of the facade are direct references to typical local buildings.

XYZ: well-thought-out functions

The name of the investment – XYZ Apartments – speaks about the functions of each of the buildings. The first one is eXtreme: it makes it possible to spend the time actively e.g. in a restaurant with après-ski offer or working together in a coworking space. The other one is dedicated for You and Your beloved ones. With a terrace, a rooftop garden and a playroom, the space will suit the families best. Finally, at the rear of the plot, there is a building in which you can achieve Zen. It is equipped with a relax zone including swimming pool and sauna, as well as an outdoor fire pits and space for picnics.

Apartments

Each apartment consists of a living room with a kitchenette, a bathroom, a separate bedroom, a balcony or a terrace. Some apartments on the top floors have mezzanines.

All apartments have been designed in such a way that their windows offer the most beautiful view of the surrounding area. Since the apartments are of a small size, the use of large glazings have been assumed together with the minimisation of a service area which is not utilized much during a short-term lease, and this for instance through applying kitchen modules of small dimensions.

The design of the ground floor apartments guarantee an optimal access to semi-private garden. All apartments can be accessed with a lift of a size complying with the needs of people with disabilities.

High standard

The high standard of the facility is evidenced not only by additional functions such as swimming pool, restaurant, sauna, ski room (accessible from the outside as well as from the underground part of the building) or coworking space. The premises will also include a well-planned car park located underground. Thanks to this, all the space around the buildings will be available for the use of the people resting there. The complex will also include charging stations for bicycles and electric cars.
