We invite you to take a tour on a new symbol of the city of Dubai, the building that proves that nothing is impossible, especially in this place on earth.

The idea was to achieve a universal symbol that would express the most impressive features of the city and will be connected to region's cultural context.. There are many symbolic signs that can be found in the structure, like for instance 3dimensional infinity- a sign that can be associated with Dubai's infinite will for impressing the world or infinite progression. The building can also symbolize a flower, something that is closely related to local culture.
Finally the shape of the building is also inspired by the mathematical concept of the attractor- which describes a set to which a dynamical system evolves after a long enough time. That is, points that get close enough to the attractor remain close even if slightly disturbed. Geometrically, an attractor can be a point, a curve, a manifold, or even a complicated set with a fractal structure known as a strange attractor. Describing the attractors of chaotic dynamical systems has been one of the achievements of chaos theory. The ribbon shaped structure is available to see already from remote areas of the city. The complex is situated in the park?s greenery and is settled on the fog pillow. That will definitely give a relief from every day's heat and struggles. The trip through the structure starts after entering aboard of a unique lift that will take you to all places in the building. The lift itself is one of the main attractions of the structure. It uses the ribbon as a natural rail for its movement. The structure is designed to give an impression of levitating. The base construction elements of the ribbon are pipe shaped tunnels. Made of carbon fibre, linked together into a ribbon they create a very solid but very
light structure making the whole shape possible.
