Puszczykówko railway station is located in the central area of Puszczykowo, which when the building was built in 1911, was called Puschkau.

It is a low building with big antique clock, covered with wooden roof. There are two lounges – summer and winter one. Many people who plan to take part in events taking place in Poznan, like annual fares and conferences, stop here, therefore the station should be an attractive signature of the town. Puszczykówko station lies on Poznan – Leszno – Wrocław route. Ca 5000 tickets are sold every day. New railway station could become a prestigious place in the city.

Design guidelines:

Aside from general restoration of building's facades internal room layout of the brick part is rearranged. The wooden part – summer lounge – is opened up towards a park and pedestrian and bicycle lanes, a church and an office, resulting in an attractive open space additional sheltering small events. In the winter time it would be closed with sliding glass panels.
